Almost half way done the first draft to Book 2

Updates:

First Draft of Book Two Update:

Day 7 of Camp NaNoWri … and I am almost at the 35,000 mark …. over half way to my 50,000 word target. May have to adjust that target this week.

This past weekend we had 20,000 word challenge in my cabin. I am proud to say I wrote just over 20,000 words. It is a good chunk of my first draft for my novel completed, ideally I aim for 80,000 words. Another 5,000 words and I’ll be able to say I am at the half way mark for “Maddox Files: Blurred Lines”

Writing Tip:

Believe in yourself …. especially when no one else does. I hear a lot of writers say that they were told they couldn’t do it, or it’s too hard … this is said by some people who are very well meaning at times. BUT, no matter who says what at the end of the day you have to know deep down whether it is something you want to do … and if it is and you don’t believe you can … fake it until you make it. Press on! Don’t give up and believe in yourself.

Back to work!
