Updates:

Project: Maddox Files: Back To Business

Alright! I made it the 50,000 word challenge in April. Which brings my word count total up to 63,142 words for my first draft. I just need another 20,000 words and we can say First Draft Completed. Then it will be on to … Rewrite … rewrite … edit … edit … and hopefully by summer 2014 it will be up for sale on Amazon.com.

Writing Tip:

Avoid using Adverbs
What are adverbs? Adverbs are modified verbs. They tell us when, where, how, in what manner, or to what extent an action is performed.
Many end in “ly” and a lot do not, such as fast, never, well, very, most, least, more, less, now, far and there to name a few.

“Adverbs are the tool of the lazy writer.”

~ Mark Twain ~
“The road to hell is paved with adverbs.”

~ Stephen King ~
