Happy Easter! Joyeuses Pâques! Fùhuó jié kuàilè! 复活节快乐!

“I try to create sympathy for my characters, then turn the monsters loose.”
~ Stephen King ~

“First, find out what your hero wants, then just follow him!”
~ Ray Bradbury ~
“Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can only see as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way.”
~E. L. Doctorow ~

Easter:

A festival celebrating various aspects of fertility and resurrection. Celebrating the arrival of spring, even though as I look out my window I see snow on the ground. Celebrating the sacrifice that Jesus made and then when he comes back. Celebrating a bunny that leaves sugary treats and hides eggs. Whatever your belief is I hope you enjoy your Easter Weekend with family and friends.

Current Writing Project:  Maddox Files: Back To Business

Working on the First Draft:  Alright I have caught up finally and I’m over 30,000 words for the 50,000 words in 30 days challenge.

Hoping to get another 10,000 words in over the weekend … we will see how that goes considering it is Easter Weekend. Happy Easter!

Writing Tip:

Commit to writing everyday even if it’s for 20 minutes or an hour but set aside some time to write. Write in a notebook or a journal. The whole idea is to take the time out and to do some kind of writing.  This came from Dave Mornix of DAM Consulting.

I love checking out Dave Mornix’s website, this guy always has a blog of inspiration ready on hand when needed … Thank you  Dave Mornix of DAM Consulting who is always inspirational.

Happy Holidays!
